Dispatch or Bury the Human Remains
DOCUMENTS (SUBMITTED BY THE SPONSOR)
- Medical report (English translation)
- Police report with translation (if required)
- Deceased's passport copy
- Iqama copy
- Death certificate with translation
- Proof of final settlement of dues
- GOSI number (if available)
- List of personal belongings (sent with the remains, except cash & jewellery)
- Cash/jewellery may be handed to the Embassy against receipt.
PROCESS
The Embassy issues a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to dispatch or bury the remains. After the NOC, the sponsor obtains 5 letters from the area police for: death certificate (Civil Affairs), passport exit (Jawazat), hospital charges, release of remains, and cargo arrangement.
